In defense of Longlegs few movies can compete with Smile. We have to wait till Friday 18th October for a movie of that caliber. Mark your calendars. 😀

The cop guy had the cursed passed on to him. If he was noble, he would just kill himself away from anyone else. He already knows what's up, so he doesn't have to spend any time investigating and learning what is going on. But I guess that would make a very short sequel lol.

Nah, Smile & Abigail were standard B-level horror movies. Longlegs is a creative masterpiece

It's close to being on par with movies like Hereditary and The Witch in my books.

Apples and oranges. How does it compare to a psychological horror and a fucking vampire movie?!

It is comparable in the amount of enjoyment that I got from each movie, as was the point of my original post. I could say that I liked The Exorcist as much as I like Happy Gilmore even though they are two different types of movies. I didn't like the same things about them, I just got equal enjoyment from them, just in different ways.

I agree this was a bit overhyped, but I thought it was way better than Smile, Abigail, and X.

Barbarian I do agree was better though.
