And this is FANTASTIC!! No shit. Is it true this cost only $15 Million to make?? If so, TOHO could show Hollywood a thing or 2 about saving $$$$$$ on big budget monster movies

I think the reason that this movie cost so little to make as opposed to the overblown budgets of many Hollywood films is the ridiculous salaries they pay the actors, plus everyone even remotely connected to the film gets a credit at the end of the film even if they contributed only ONE frame of film.
Plus the unions cause the price of movies to skyrocket.

The biggest reason why this movie costs so little was because there is only 1 giant monster. In the recent Godzilla/Kong universe, there are so many other large monsters to account for in the movies
