I LOVE Masuka the cat!
That fat cat was so chill. He was quite the character all by himself.

Me too! I felt uneasy throughout the film that something bad was going to happen to him. So glad that he rides off into the darkness with his new family. Loved that he was perched between them in the car.
shareYep I thought the drug dealer at the beginning was going to kill him. Then I thought the junkie dad was going to kill him. So glad he survived it all to have a new family. Funny how the movie started off with him being stolen in the first place. That cat had quite some life!
shareYes, he did. Great cat! I also thought that the girl might eat him as an appetizer. Instead, she cared for him better than any of the "living" characters.
shareThe cat needs its own movie!
shareI enjoyed the movie and especially liked Masuka since he looks almost exactly like my old cat Elmo.
shareI'm so glad others thought the same thing! I spent a good bit of the movie worried for the cat that it was going to be killed and was so happy to see him ride off in the end.
Really liked the movie also.
As much as I like the cat, I think the director could have gone for shock factor by killing off the cat.
Cats are a vampires best friend.
Killing the cat isn't shock factor, it's basically expected when any animal is in a horror movie. Which is why people were happily surprised the cat survived until the end. Myself included. :)
shareYep. I was terrified for the cat throughout the film. Happily surprised he survived! The ending was awesome, with the cat perched between them in the car. He was so expressive.

Me too, especially when he is sitting in the car. So cute! I was so scared someone was going to hurt him.
