Only successful horror movie without sequel?

How successful was this? I know it's popular with women on prozac.

Exactly, and It Follows now too.

I can think in Barbarian too, although is more thriller than pure horror.

True, but more drama than horror, like The sixth sense.

There are elements of drama, sure, like there are in many horror films; but in no way would I call The Others more of a drama than a horror film.
