And I thought no kid could ever be more annoying than Carl Grimes on TWD. Holy *beep* they should put this kid in Hostel and Saw and kill him over and over again. Yep, I just said that, and yep, i mean it.

shareAt first I was inclined to agree with you but over the course of the movie it was clear that the kid had a whole bunch of issues. It was clear that his mother didn't love him - she wished that he had died instead of her husband. Not to mention there was a ton of neglect and her paranoia was rubbing off on him.
Once she pulled her *beep* together at the end of the movie the kid became almost normal.
so the actor was doing hell of a job, right

That kid needed to be seeing a shrink, and his mother should have punished him instead of letting him get away with being an extreme brat. But no the kid runs away and hides and starts crying whenever the mother remotely raises her voice at him, and she falls for it.
The kid's over-the-top brattiness and the mother's lack of control were so distracting that I really couldn't enjoy the movie.
"People don't like me because I'm weird". Yep kid, they're right.
