Warning: Animal Violence

For those of us who are sensitive.

How many people who are offended at a dog NOT getting killed, eat meat? Where is the "sensitivity" then?

Hello, this is the OP. I'd like to say a few things in response to all the replies my post has received.

It's incredibly easy to love animals and to care as much about their lives and well-being as it is to care about people. It takes no more energy to do so. Furthermore, humans are capable of caring about more than one thing at a time. We can care about animals and people simultaneously. I'm not suggesting that animals are more important than people. That determination is up to each individual. My purpose for posting the animal violence warning is simple: to alert sensitive viewers to an upsetting element in the plot.

When we watch horror movies about people, we understand that people will be harmed. That's what we as horror movie fans expect and agree to when we watch these movies. We do not, however, always expect that animals will be harmed to advance the plot. Some of us are extremely sensitive. Some of us have seen animal violence, abuse, etc. in real life, and we do not want to see it in movies. My post is for these people. For the people who find my post unnecessary, you're free to ignore it, since it's not intended for you. I have no desire to argue with you or to try to change your philosophy. That's not what I'm here for, and I do not care what your views are.

To the rest of you guys, thank you for understanding my motivation. I will continue posting notices as I come across movies depicting violence against animals.
