Building a new body for David's head

So at the end of Prometheus, David is just a head. Shaw and David head go to fund an Engineer ship to fly away. David knows how the ship works but Shaw has to push the buttons because David's got no hands. I guess she carries around David's head so he can tell her which buttons to push.

Now how does Shaw build a new body for David? Using Engineer technology and Engineer materials. Remember she's limited to just what she can find on their ship. And she is not an expert robot builder, she's a science officer right?
So for a non expert, using unfamiliar technology and random scavenged materials, she did a damn good job making him a body that looks factory original. So much so that he and Walter are twinsies.
I would expect it to look a little Frankenstein-ish.
