Why children?

Why waste resources and time on training feeble children as soldiers, creating suitable armor for children en masse, establishing assembly lines for said armor when the aliens are already in command of a whole platoon of strong trained soldiers?

Haven't finished the movie, yet. I mean, it's obvious the army is actually the bad guys, right?

And the dynamic between Chloe and the stereotypical infallible hot knight is hilarious.

What's wrong with me? Why do I do this to myself? I even paid to watch this... :sigh:

The question, to me, was:

How quick are children to believe a lie without questioning it?

I know plenty of adults that question almost every lie they come across.

Children, on the other hand, at no fault of their own, are often naive and believe what they chose to believe.

I think they knew if they tried The Fifth Wave on adults, it would have failed.

Look at the first 4 waves, none of the attacks had to do with superior strength.

Look at Vietnam, the Americans were clearly stronger, more muscular, definitely taller... but clearly outsmarted.

Attacking in waves is strategy.

Anyways, I enjoyed the movie.
