How would you've handled the White house invasion?

Here's my idea if I was in charge of the response.

Instead of having the Army and FBI response teams camping outside, I would've ordered them to storm in the moment they arrived.

And if the first assault didn't work, I would've had a second wave of 500 men at the ready. Granted the fight would've been fierce but my attitude would've been this, The White House is America's house and we will get it back no matter what.

For one, I would have launched as many nukes as possible once Cerberus got activated. They had 5 minutes to get the nukes off American soil and into the middle of the ocean.

I would take back the white house at all cost and then till the teams are right outside the bunker I'd "negotiate"but wouldnt bargain a single life for the life of teh presidnet he's just one elected rep, we can always get another one. I'd be more interested on getting the walking corpses of invaders in body bags.

Meanwhile nukes would be flying to NK to carpet bomb all military and government HQs targets, followed by an full scale invasion.

Many movies and TV shows forget that attacking the US would be a suicide. Just look at what happened to Afghanistan/Iraq. These movies never make sense because it's always a relatively small military power that attacks the US.

I think anything other than what was done in the movie would do. What a great movie to make our top leaders look like complete idiots in a serious, whole country threatening crisis.

I would have been first to die.

Was Bruce Willis on the toilet ?

I would have joined the attackers. Death to America! [only half joking]

I would go John Wick on them !!

I say we dust off and nuke the site from orbit.

Seriously... the President just gave an order not to negotiate. So don't. Like others said, he's safe in the bunker so go in heavy.

Forgot how ridiculous all the other plot holes are... hadn't anybody on staff seen "Salt" 3 years before this? Or R.E.D. ? A frontal attack is always just a ruse to get you run off. And the S.S. should have ignored the President's request to bring the S. Korean delegation with him into the bunker.

I tried to get into this movie but there were so many obviously stupid decisions that I had to fast-forward through most of it to get to the final scene.

It's the only way to be sure.
