OMG this is NOT happening
No. No. No. NO. They are NOT remaking my childhood. No no no....
shareRight!? I mean the chick is wearing a crop top, ugh. ? Why are they ruining all these originals? These new ones they are making don't even make the top selling in the box office. Kids don't want to see this crap. . They are remaking EVERYTHING! !! UGH
shareThe world today makes me SAD. ?? They're so desperate to make more money that they remake true beauty of the cinema and timeless classics. I mean if they remake The Godfather or Psycho or something like that I am SO out.
shareJumanji is not true beauty or a timeless classic.
shareGus Van Sant made a shot-for-shot remake of Psycho years ago, and there is also currently the pretty good Bates Motel series which transfers the creepy relationship between Norman and his mother into modern times.
Several snobbish critics probably wishes you dead now for comparing the original Jumanji to timeless classics.
They remade Psycho already mate.
There's only two things I hate in this world, intolerance to other peoples cultures and the French.
The world today makes me SAD.
What an entitled little bitch you are. Don't like it don't watch it.
I love Jumanji and I won't watch this crap either. Not because It will ruin my memories of watching this as a kid, but simply because I've no interest in watching it.
But this idea that they owe you anything or that somehow they making a *beep* remake will soil your childhood memories is so *beep* stupid and self-centered. Grow up and watch what you want and don't watch what you don't want. No one is pulling a gun to your head and make you watch remakes (as *beep* as most of them are).
Thank you!
shareWell you don't have to be so mean about it. Thank you for making a point though.
shareIt doesn't seem to be a remake at all. If you read anything about the movie and who the characters are. It looks like a continuation. I would be far angrier if they did a remake of The Wizard of Oz. The Oz movie that came out a few years ago, was not a remake, it was more of a prequel story, as there was no Dorothy, Scarecrow, Tinman or Lion. Remakes are made every year. And, yes, I would love for that to stop and writers and directors to stop remaking and adapting everything and start writing new and interesting movies. But this is the current world we live in.
shareno one cares about you boy
