Fun to Watch
But he really does make 2 and 2 make 5.
shareSundaland theory has been an accepted theory by many archaeologists in SE Asia or by SE Asian or Austronesian archaeologists.
Ps. Regarding his reference to Polynesians, they're not native to the Polynesian islands, they are similar genetically, linguistically and culturally to many SE Asians under the umbrella term Austronesians named after their language family. Melanesians also speak an Austronesian language but they speak the language of their colonizers, they no longer speak their original language. Melanesians have been in the Pacific for a much longer time than the Polynesians who are recent comers.
I remember when I was a kid watching In Search Of Ancient Astronauts by Eric Van Danker and thinking it was fun to consider these things, but as I watched I could see most of it was really stretching the facts past the breaking point. UFO documentaries used to give me the same feeling, but I know there ain't no such thing as UFOs. It's kind of a good thing that the universe is so big that it would take the most advanced beings tens of thousands or of years to get here even if they could go the speed of light.
shareGood old Erich von Dunnycan fooled a lot of people with his ' Chariots of the Gods ' bullshit. His timing couldn't have been better with all of the gullible drugged up hippies and their "counter culture" crap. They ate it up with a spoon.
I bet more Trump voters like Chariots of the Gods. They are more gullible, which is why the GOP panders to them.
shareStarted in 55 and he portrays a girl.
shareEntertaining, but just like all the ancient astronaut stuff, pure hooey.
shareThe most interesting episodes were the two set in Turkey. I wish more time was devoted to Göbekli Tepe, I find it fascinating and amazing that such a site was found so recently by Klaus Schmidt in the 1990’s!
The underground city of Derinkuyu also intrigues me, I was going to joke it’s something Indiana Jones would have come across, but it is also a recent rediscovery.
