Not terrible, but no real direction either.


Wonder what happened to del Toro's Hellboy 3? Looked it up and I just found an article that quoted a partner of his saying he had grown past it. Wonder if after this fans will try and get him to finish his trilogy.

I wouldn’t bet on a Hellboy 3. A TV series? I can see that happening. But only time will tell whether or not it will involve Del Toro (I doubt it—it wouldn’t bother me).

As for this Hellboy, I enjoyed it. Lacked direction? True. All the behind the scenes drama obviously didn’t help the film.

With Hollywood if it is not making money for them then they are not interested in making more films. For the film company to make money it has to make more than what it cost to make the films. What I am saying is if the budget is set at 60 million and the production company makes much more than that by doubling or tripling their amount then they are happy to continue on with the franchise.
