I honestly can't decide! I love the first one because it introduces all the characters and the comedy was good, the second because it had a darker tone and that end fight scene was awesome and the third because of the spirit realm and it was just beautifully animated. They all have a great story and consistent with each other. A very solid trilogy and I think theyre all equally good.
But which one do you guys like best?

2 is def my favorite great themes, depth and also the best fights. 3 is quite distant from the first two imo. Not terrible. But unremarkable compared to 2 and 1
1, 2 & 3 but with very little margin between them. I like Part 1 the most for the biting chemistry between Po and Shifu with the best animated performance ever in Oogway. Shifu's role has regretfully diminished in the sequels. Part 2 was good for the emotional impact and a better villain. Part 3 successfully brought back some of the relationship emotions of KFP2 and the self-improvement themes of Part 1 with the return of Oogway but it had the least developed villain.
shareIMDB lists the first 2 releases in 2008 and 2011. I think I saw them but that is a long a55 time ago. All I can remember is that they were funny. I don't know why they waited 5 years to release #3 but do you guys actually remember the first 2 or did you rewatch them?
shareI rewatched them recently. I felt that each installment surpassed the one before, but I wouldn't pick and choose among them because I see them as three parts of a whole. They were all amazing. The artwork, especially, got more elaborate and breathtaking with each installment.

The original is the best. It has the best script and it holds up on repeat viewings. The sequels are simple children's movies, and I got bored of them before they ended. I knew Dreamworks wouldn't maintain the quality they started off with...
share1 - Loved the freshness and all the characters (obviously)
3 - Loved the whole concept of chi and the humor. Only qualm being that they should have invested a bit more time into the action sequences.
2 - Was good but didnt feel as connected to the story as the other 2.
1 -> 2, haven't seen 3.
1 had a more focused plot and a better villain IMHO. Shen was pathetic and reduced to comedic relief too often. While Tai Lung was really disrespected in the final moments of 1, his fight with Shifu and the emotional impact that battle held had already semented him for me. I also think it was more memorable overall.
Also, where was Shifu in 2? One of the best characters of the franchise reduced to a downright cameo-like appearance near the end of the movie.
Now I did like 2 as it had its memorable moments (that wolf denying Shen towards the end was awesome), I think it focused so much on the comedy I couldn't take it seriously.

Also, if you thought KFP2 had unnecessary humor shoved in, boy, you're in for a treat with KFP3

This one was my definite favorite. Perhaps the most enjoyable and fun of the triology.
