Sorry to hear that, although I only watched one episode of season 2. I think it was a big ask to get audiences to attach to a new actor for the Takeshi Kovacs character. It might be one of those concepts that just doesn't translate well outside of the books.

No, it was because season 2 was totally insipid.

Was it? I didn't watch, so I don't know. Just for myself, I couldn't get interested in a new actor, it felt like an entirely new character.
