Should at least do a 90 min movie...
Why not?
shareYep. Needs to deal with the Mayor and then Mickey. Figured that was going to be the finale.
shareAnd at least one or 2 of the brothers should get killed off.
shareIt may have been. The show runners reportedly are very surprised by the cancellation. They were working on a concluding 8th season. The show has a strong following. The decision to cancel seems to be the result of a recent corporate merger.
shareAnd it looks like there will be closure, after all. Here are the details:

Furk yeah. I'm glad that there are armies of people out there who bitch to get things they want. Sometimes our interests align and it works to my benefit. I comment on YouTube and moviechat but I doubt I make any kind of meaningful noise.
shareI have similar hopes for the massive campaign for a closing sequel to Alita: Battle Angel. I’ve fallen in love with that film.
United we stand.
I have the last three eps from season 7 to watch. Been a really good ride.
For some reason, I don't find I personally need to have closure ... at least I don't think I do.
I know it's just made up fun, and I'm pretty sure Liev Schreiber is nothing like Ray, so I can let go easily.
But it sure has been fun to binge it for free and it's very well done, great foreshadowing and payoff and release of tension, a nice bit of drama. Always a little sad when it ends, but I don't emotionally feel the need for some climax.
It's just a tv show.
Yup. Temporary friendships with other people also only offers a glimpse into their lives, without a conclusion. Seems more natural, actually.
