I can’t recall a Bigger Bad in any previous season than the New York cops, can you? I think Ray-Ray’s gonna need some backup on this match-up. This could turn into a shark-jump moment of such colossal magnitude that the show hits Escape Velocity and rockets into the Sun, triggers a Supernova and destroys our solar system, or it could be amazingly good. I’m rooting for the Amazingly Good scenario.

Apparently Mickey, who has never been actually, you know, smart, is in the throes of senility, because Bunchy came up with a robbery plan that was much smarter than Mickey’s. If you’re out-thought by Bunchy, you have a problem.

Does anyone have any thoughts about what the apparently-deranged older lady who is always standing at the entrance to the Russian Tea Room is all about? Is she a real-world fixture at the place? Is she some kind of symbol? Is she married to one of the show’s producers? Is she a Twin Peaks moment?
