How many times have I thought or said "poor Bunchy"

He's a dolt for sure sometimes, in fact, most of the time. But he has an essential niceness to him that's endearing. I can't see anything working out for him after all his stupid acts this year. Although, that's the game that the show plays with people - it puts them in impossible positions and then bails them out at the last second.

Totally agree with you on all points.

hard to walk away from multiple armed robberys. either bunchy buys the farm or goes inside.

that exchange w/ his wife was SO tough to watch - her manipulating the crap out of him, and then blaming all their problems on him. it was nice that bunchy was able to express his outrage at her, at least. that's probably all the satisfaction he's ever going to get for his troubles.

he's a sad sack. one of the charms of the show is they show these guys, esp. bunchy & most especially micky, doing dumb/horrible stuff, but still having aspects of humanity in their character.

i was wondering what became of the ransom loot napoleon dynamite's grandma made off with. you'd think they'd be keeping a closer eye on that, would have gotten it back by now.

reply

Napoleon Dynamite's grand mother I think .

I don't get the money storyline. All that money and Ray acts like it's nothing. Why aren't they going after the money? Why wait until it's possibly split up? C'mon it's 3 million bucks! Will the old lady end up dead?

reply

yea, makes no sense. they showed leena tracking it early on, and then they just dropped it.

and now, she walks right in front of bunchy, hiding in plain site in the old neighorhood. poor writing.

They have a tracker in the money bag. They can get it any time they want it. Ray has higher priorities right now. Lena’s been tracking it consistently. She’s the most reliable player on Ray’s team. And, hey!, why’d they decide to write Ari out? The show shipped him off of Israel. Was it a budget cut?

I stopped feeling sorry for Bunchy a long time ago. There comes a time in the life of every victim when s/he decides what to do with life: move on, or wallow in self-pity. In the latest episode, where Bunchy tells Jesus that he hates Him, it is clear that Bunch’ just loves his time in the hog-waller. That’s not in the least sympathetic. It’s pitiful and contemptible. It’s neither entertaining nor enlightening to watch.

An irredeemable idiot who reached his nadir this season.

“THAT THREE MILLION IS FOR MY FAMILY!!!”

1. No, Bunchy. It isn’t.
2. It’s not yours.
3. Even though you helped steal it, still not yours.
4. And your “family” will do, exactly, what with it?
5. You don’t have family. Your wife, who left and doesn’t love you, took your only kid.
6. That money came from somewhere. Do you think maybe they want it back?
Will hurt you or your brothers you claim to love so much to get it back?
7. You don’t care, I get it. IT’S YOURS because ... well, you said so.
