He is directly called British in the film.

Also to make your comment all the stupider. Schwarzenegger, Van Damme and Lundgren have all played American characters without changing their accents.

At no point does he attempt to portray an 'American' accent and is clearly referred to as 'British' by another character ... so perhaps you may try watching the movie next time before making yourself look a 'tw@t' (British noun with no known American equivalent)

It was mentioned many times in this film his character *is* British... specifically and by implication (eg. when it was asked if he served in the SAS or SBS regiments of the UK armed forces for example)
