The first insidieous was a creepy, scary, little gem. Part 2 is just hokey, not scary, and seems Taylor made for an ADA audience. This should be 2 and that's generous.

it's down to 6.6 now. I gave it 5/10. Lin Shaye was the saving grace in the first film, but she's not used to her potential here, and this film runs out of steam quickly in my book.

Over on another site they gave this a 3.3/10, I think that's a little harsh. I'll go 5/10. It's not terrible but it didn't hold my attention like the first one did.

yeah the rating is quite high especially considering there are far better horror movies on here rated in the same range or even lower like Sinister, The Witch and Oculus

i gave it a 4/10

so many movies, so little time
