Cannot believe there was no outcry for a boycott from the Trans communit
Linking mass murder to transgenderism .., a not uncommon trope in horror - really surprised a movie can get made today that still does this…

shareMaybe feminists should've attacked the movie for the way it represented a feminist in his mother. You're only a good boy if you're a girl...? Sounds like feminist thinking to me.
LMAO
Truthfully, they are actually trying to indoctrinate children by taking away gender affiliations like "boy toys" or "girl toys." They want to put CHILDREN on hormone-suppressants before they hit puberty. That's this kind of abuse.
Get off your soapbox while I play you a tune on the tiniest violin.
The focus of the left was still on gay marriage in 2010. IF Insidious was produced today the media would be all over looking for people who were offended.
shareWell regarding whether he wanted to be a girl when he was a child he definitely did not want to be a girl. His mother was either insane and wanted a girl so bad she lost touch of reality and thought she could pretend he was or just plain evil. Anyway it's obvious his life was shaped by her abuse and must be at least part of the reason he became a killer. And these themes in horror movies are similar to some real life cases. Someone already talked about Ed Fein and how is crazy mother affected him. Another case involved a killer named Henry Lee Lucas. Apparently when he was a child his mother made him look like a girl. Did his hair like a girl and made him wear a dress at times maybe even to school. I dont think she wanted a girl I think she just wanted to humiliate him. Not surprising that his first murder was his mother. Now as far as when Parker grew up I am confused as to whether he then wanted to become a woman(self castration and cross dressing when he killed) or whether in his craziness his mother was controlling him. Btw I loved the scene when the ghost hunters go into Parkers room. All those rocking horses rocking and it was creepy when we first saw young Parker. Little old fashioned girls in dresses and ponytails are creepy enough but knowing it's a boy and future killer in that dress is even weirder.
The scary clown doll is hiding under my bed.
True. If Insidious came out a few years later. Oh boy! The SJWs would have went ballistic.
