i didn't like him just making up a direction and assuming it was west

it's no way to start out a journey that he was serious about going on. made him seem like a moronic character. i will finish the film tomorrow.

Lol I thought that was weird as well. When your journey is 70 miles on foot and the land if filled with giant nightmare creatures, the difference between west and kinda sorta west is pretty fucking important.

Agreed. Although I know it was supposed to be an attempt at humor I had to retconn it in my head cannon cause it just seemed like wasn't really trying.

Yes a very lazy attempt a humour. As soon as he said 'west is that way' and walked out of camera shot, I turned to my Wife and said, 'watch he's gonna come thru the camera shot walking the other way.' Sure enough he did. I did this with a few scenes until she asked me to stop - lol
Most things were predictable.
