...my advice is to STOP at the end of season 2. You will have 2 series of quality drama that will refresh your faith in humanity.

Only proceed further if you like soap operas.

I've just picked it up and while I'll probably watch all of it anyway, it's good to be forewarned. This assessment appears to reflect a general consensus, after skimming a good handful of other topics as well.
