A low rating for this movie is proof that...

...Affirmative action was necessary. Why is that? Well, we have a movie that has a low rating because Tyler Perry produced it. Not because it deserved a low rating, but because of racism. If Tyler Perry was white...

um I dont think Tyler Perry created Madea to make white ppl laugh, my dear. His comedy is geared towards Black American culture and a way to find laughter in times of oppression. Bottom line is ..if they haven't ever missed a Xmas or two, they wont get it!

Also, you have to remember that a lot of Euros and Brits post at IMDB. I heard they treat their blk and brown skin ppls real baaaad. Yes, even compared to all the racism in America. This is 2012 and their leaders are still intimidated by the presence of blacks ..so imagine how insecure their own ppl must feel about a successful black man lol

Just thought you should know(if you don't already) that Darwin didn't actually say that.

Here I am, stuck in the middle with you.

Affirmative action only makes the minorities weaker. If you think that hand out's is going solve inequality then why hasn't it done any good yet? I think that minorities need to work on social reform and change their perspective of their whole culture. Stop being the victims and strive to succeed. This is what I love about Japanese culture. Even after being torn away from their home, they still thrived in whatever communities they lived in. It's all a mindset.

Affirmative action doesn't help out black people as much as you think. The ones who benefit the most from it aren't black.

Less than 3,000 people voted on this movie, so that hardly implies that all white people hate the film. My theater had plenty of whites in it laughing their behinds off. A lot of people forget that the ratings on this site only represent a limited amount of people's opinion on each film. But yeah, every Tyler Perry movie gets rigged with 1 votes and 10 votes from people who haven't seen them. Happens to a lot of the films on here.

As for the affirmative action bit, I won't even bother addressing that.

Before it makes dollars, it must make sense.
