They just remade the first movie with more characters

What a waste of a sequel. It's a 4 or 5/10 at best.

The movie did feel pretty redundant and a lot of it felt recycled. They could have done more with the plot and it was like watching a repeat of the first movie but instead Anxiety decides to take over.

It did a billion so Pixar is probably satisfied.

I felt the same way. Commonly, sequels do retell a basic plot pattern from the original, but the best ones do something unique and creative. With this sequel, it's a repeat of the first film, but the theme of anxiety is relatable and hits home with modern audiences.
