So, Run All Night or A Walk Among the Tombstones. Both stories have the main character as a "retired" cop/mobster hitman, there is a black youngster featured in the both movies, and some sort of east European gang involved. I enjoyed both.
I liked AWAT more because it had a dark side to it. Jonas jumping of the building scene.

Walk among the Tombstones kept me engaged for longer as it was more of a drama character driven film. Run all Night felt cliche at times and abit boring.

I expected more from Run All Night and Collet-Serra (I loved Non-Stop). It is actually a bad copy of Road to Perdition...
I loved the Ed Harris character, though. His lines were delivered brilliantly.

I preferred RAN over AWAT. AWAT was a bit slow for me.

shareRun All Night was way better that AWAT. And the black youngster in Run All Night didn't bug the crap out of me like that Astro kid did. He ruined AWAT for me.

RAN is better and more powerful story. Ran had better actors and better action and was interesting all the way through.
AWAT was very boring and liam was really weak in that movie. Also I could care less about some kidnapped person.
