How will you be watching the final episode?

Excepting certain outstanding scenes, I've found this season fairly anticlimactic. To an extent I anticipated this, because the primary source of disruption and conflict would be removed from those who'd been directly affected, namely family and community. The energy would be diffused, rather than concentrated, as it had been.

Newly independent Daniel is effectively a new story, which couldn't wheel into the final stages drifting on the accumulated momentum of three previous seasons. For that reason I was convinced that his story needed to get out the gate very strongly, that his new relationships had to be extraordinarily compelling. And then there was Chloe, and that was like letting more air out of an already somewhat deflated tire.

I still have high hopes for a strong finale, but not so much for the Daniel/Chloe story, and for the finale overall to compensate for the drop in energy due to the splitting away of the protagonist from the original group. You can't get a refund on opportunity cost.

Despite these judgments, Rectify has been a highlight TV drama for me. If only more shows could even match its weaker moments.

the episode airs at 10 pm, but airs for 110 minutes with comercials, if i get it sneakily ill be watching it at 12:30, if i can't then i will be watching it at 3am, or midnight eastern on netflix,
where, in my basement, half under my covers,

unfortunately, i think i might go crazy (yeah i now i probably come across as crazy already:P) after the hours i have spent(wasted?) on pondering every aspect of the show, if it is left open ended, or the ending is so terrible that it negates the previous 29 episodes, and suffer from PTDS(post traumatic Daniel Syndrome)

I hope the senators house has termites, and they confuse his frozen face for wood and eat through it,(i am not that evil)

Tonight either via my phone's Uverse app with earphones or later on the tv dvr. All by my selllllllffff, but probably with family in the room if I'm using my earphones. (Always alone in the crowd)



~Doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is not insanity. It's practice.

On the couch some time this weekend with traditional Rectify food - coffee & pizza.

As it airs on TV, by myself, possibly with a drink (dunno yet if I feel like it). There will most likely be at least one cat on my lap. Not planning any snacks as they would be a distraction.
