a few things (spoilers)

The actress playing Clarice does a fine job, at times she really catches Jodie Foster's cadence and mannerisms. I do think she looks more like a young Julianne Moore than Jodi Foster. I hate when reboots, etc. have too many forced verbal easter eggs : "hello Clarice"; "he cared for her"; "desperately random." Why the heck would a company or whomever wanted these ladies killed in the first episode would go with the serial killer method? If they killed them randomly and made it looked like botched robberies or sexual assaults nobody would have but 2+2 together and the FBI would never have been called in. I think the writers could have come up with a better story. Maybe it will all come together as the show continues.
