Not to mention that awful lisp in the beginning of the movie...completely destroyed S...

haha she saved it, she gave me something to look at and her acting wasn't bad at all, I just thought she was too young and pretty to be playing the part myself, kostner and mcg seem to be the ones that phoned it in

I agree! She was to young and "pretty" to play the part.

It was absurd!

But the lisp? Seriously? Didn't that bother you at all?

reply

I never noticed a lisp. I usually get bothered by any type of lisp but I never noticed one. Although I do have tinnitus in one ear so maybe that drowned it out. But I think Amber was the very least of this films problems. Costner as a hit-man is just silly to begin with. He's always been the guy that protects you from the guy he was playing. haha

Every shot of her was set up to make her look sexy but the bad acting, as you said, killed it.

Kevin was great but the rest of the movie was awful.

reply

Her character was awful and belonged to another film.

Its that man again!!

reply

I thought Heard was the only good thing about this movie. Can't wait to see more of her work in film.

reply

I thought the Vivian character was one of the best things about the movie,

reply

I didn't understand why, as she was an elite assassin with the CIA, she got somebody to kill for her, somebody who had already been retired from the CIA at the start of the film. Also why she wore such ridiculous clothes and wigs when an assassin should blend into the crowd. In fact the film didn't really need her at all. God AH's acting was abominable.

reply

That's what I was thinking. AH's "acting" didn't make it any better either. My god.
