When it was released and the reviews came out and everybody said it is a 10/10 and a masterpiece i thought that i have to play this game.
I played half way through and got bored and waited for something to happen, to understand why everybody is in love with this game but it was just boring with **** AI and **** gameplay.
Think you should just stick with Sonic the Hedgehog.

The turnbased battles in final fantasy are even more exciting than the repeating stealth bs in loa. Even the story couldn't get me to finish the game. Way way overrated game....
How can you say this game is boring when you have only played part of it? It bugs me no end when people do this. Play it to the end, stick with it and you will see it's far from boring. It's a fantastic game.

Its a reskinned Uncharted, with the humour stripped out, transformed into a ten hour escort mission with some dubious stealth and terrible level design.
I would hardly call it a reskin of Uncharted. They're both third-person shooters, and thus share a few basic similarities, but TLOU actually handles quite differently from an Uncharted title.

This isn't about the action. It's about the character interaction and story line. By far more engaging, in my opinion, than any straight up FPS/TPS game.
shareI loved it because I loved Ellie's character. The gameplay did get boring after a while but I found the game was well-paced.
The multiplayer sucks though.
Oh man, you should have stuck around till winter. I thought that was the best part of the game, when ou get to play as Ellie.
