John Boyega says “No!” to Kang fan recasting

Good for him. He’d have been an awful choice. He’s about as intimidating as a chipmunk in a teddy bear costume.

They need to drop Kang anyway. Boring character who already outlived his usefulness.

hes likely signed on Reys New Jedi Order already hence no involvement

Both Disney Productions, so if Disney had been keen in Casting him, they could have made both fit.

Let's see what happens with this, but personally I am bit sad, Boyega had been a good (imo even better) replacement.

Did they approach Michael B Jordan yet?

I feel he'd a complete shoe-in for this role...

He already played an MCU villain. And he was awful.

But didn't his character die?

I'm sure he could come back - That Chris Evans guy (not the ginger speccy one) was in Fantastic Four yet somehow reappeared as Captain America.

Also there was that guy who killed in You Only Live Twice. Next thing you know he's back as Blofeld!

So it can be done. And Michael B Jordan would add a certain gravitas to these films, which are rapidly going downhill...

He was one of the best acting performances in the entire MCU, so it's difficult to agree that he was "awful".
