VOTE: Best Segment.

Let's find out which one is people's favorite segment. I'm sorry if someone has already done this, but I just saw the movie and I'm really curious to know what you guys think. My favorite segment is 'The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger', which is the video chat one.
So just put the number corresponding to the one you think is the best.

1 - Amateur Night; the demon girl in the motel room.
2 - Second Honeymoon; the couple travelling on their honeymoon.
3 - Tuesday the 17th; slasher in the woods one.
4 - The Sick Thing That Happened to Emily When She Was Younger; the video chat.
5 - 10/31/98; Halloween haunted house.

I try to write stuff... It doesn't work very much...

Definitely the video chat one. Watching it middle of night and made me turn on my bed light ahaha.

Second Honeymoon and Halloween Haunted House
Second Honeymoon felt more real and the two in the movie were very likable.
I liked the Haunted House because that one look like it had the most effort to make and It was very scary. My only question with that one is how did the footage survive the train crash. The camera and the tape would have been destroyed in the crash so how did the tape survive. That I don't understand. I am anxious to see the sequel when it comes out.

I see the tapes as akin to the confessing souls in TALES FROM THE CRYPT (1972). Things like logic and physics do not really apply when you're in a story about supernatural events.

Tie between Amateur Night and 10/31/98

reply

It's probably a tie between number 1 and 4. I liked the 4th because it employed the webcam style, which I thought was effective; the first one was mainly for the sexual tension, for lack of a better term.

Amateur Night and Emily are my favorites

Tuesday 17th was my least favorite

I think 1, 4, and 5 were very effective, but I think 1 is just a little bit better thought out than 4 or 5.

I liked 2 the more I think about it, but it's definitely the odd man out. More psycho-thriller than horror like the rest of the movie.

3 was just not good.

The wrap around was pure drek. I like how it's so bad you don't even give it a number.

So: 1, 4, 5, 2 then a distant 3...and the wrap around can go *beep* itself.

I also picked 4.

"Amateur Night" with the wide-eyed girl in the hotel room. Slow to start, but oh my goodness, does it ever turn!
