I agree with you it had a lot of funny parts and also a few parts made me tear up. It was not Oscar worthy by any stretch of the imagination but that's not what they were going for and it worked out just fine. :) I like Melissa as an actress, she gives regular people something to relate to and hope that there will be a light at the end of the tunnel, and I'm ok with that.

I think far too many people who take films seriously frequent these forums now and need to say films are bad to make themselves look good. They usually dislike comedies.

You are not alone! How about when she blows air at the deer who she hit, but does so from a distance because she didn't want to get bit?  And then the deer got up and ran away, she says, "I thought that would work".  Hilarious!

Me and my wife liked it. Had me crying at one point. Rude and crude and incredibly beautiful at times.
