Good performances from the whole cast, but especially Elijah Wood. Beautiful photography. Fantastic score by Robin Coudert, which although some say reminds them of Goblin's work for Dario Argento, reminded me more of Philip Glass's score for the original Candyman.

Not generally into slashers, but 7/10.

I agree. I thought Wood was a good choice and the movie a good update in general.

Same here. I've knew of this movie for years but never bothered checking it out. A Manaic remake with Frodo fucking Baggins as the scalper? Didn't sound too promising.

I only found out it was largely shot in POV the other week and that's what made me decide to check it out.

Good movie.
