S06E04 - Mazey Day

It didn't feel like Black Mirror at all, and the twist came out of nowhere. If this was "Love, Death, and Robots" it'd have felt less random.

Black Mirror is supposed to be a dark reflection of our reality, where the stories ride the line between plausible and fantasy, while showcasing technology that we take for granted. But this episode was just a generic horror story with a left-field twist. It's like they ordered 5 episodes and could only think of 4, so somebody slapped this together, and the twist was what barely convinced Netflix to greenlight it.

I thought it was horrible. Just blood and gore.

I like the how the last scene mirrored (see what I did there?) that of the near ending scene in Full Metal Jacket where the young VC/NVA girl pleaded with the US soldiers to, "Just shoot me."
