Is this a show for the dumb?

The plot of the first two episodes is beyond ridiculous.

I wasn't really impressed with seasons 1 or 2.Enjoying season 3 so far though.

Yes, I've heard season 3 is the best one but I'm not sure I should give it a chance since I've also heard the entire show is good... And I'm really disappointed with the first 2 seasons. The only episodes I liked are maybe the last one in the 1st season and the first one in the 2nd season. I really liked the climate of the second episode but that plot...

You can skip episodes in season 1 and 2 without missing anything. But i enjoyed the whole season 3, also 4 but less.
The greatest episode is the christmas episode with Jon Hamm.

It absolutely is. It gets better, but never reaches greatness imo.

maybe its a show for the smart, and as such just doesnt work for you ;)

j/k but, cmon, there are some episodes in those first two seasons which were indeed thought-provoking to me, at least.

the way to view them imo is as thought experiments or allegories, not as hard sci-fi. there is usually some connection to real threats posed, or present infirmities of technology applied to the human condition. just jump on the train and look at what people are doing. looking down. there's a start.

The show is entertaining at times, but it isn't The Twilight Zone.
