Worst acting ever!!

Season 3 episode 2
This guy has to be the worst actor ever, he ruined a show which could have been decent otherwise. I don't think any episodes of this show are Great, but this one is the worst I've seen yet (I've only seen three or four episodes) only watching out of boredom.

reply

The guy was great. Simply great.

I am surprised I haven't seen him in anything before.

reply

You either must be trolling or cannot recognize bad acting. Poor you. :(

reply

I am a movie buff, thank you very much.

The guy did very well with this role. He looked entirely believable every second he was on screen.

I am sorry but that's blatant lie or you must have been snoozing during watching and did not see it all. :(
About 32 or 33 minutes into the film he sudenly sees Peters. His reaction is totaly fake and that put me off immediatelly. His acting in this particular scene was so very unnatural and unbelivable - all this prolonged uuhhs and oohhs and weird gesticulation. That was just bad acting. Face it.

reply

I can say the same thing you said to me earlier - how sad for you that you don't see it. 

reply

Yeah, let's agree that we disagree on this one, but I supported your view on the Nosedive:

I liked him too. Thought he was funny. Especially after the Sonja/giant spider attack happened, when he yelled "Katie!" in an exasperated voice. I was in tears. He was definitely a different lead than was seen in any of the other episodes, more comedic, but I found it enjoyable.

Wildcattin'...Wildcattin'. Pow! I'm gonna go.

reply

The acting was great, there are plenty worse actors in the show, you just didn't like the character or his looks. It's really simple. He probably reminded you of an actor or celebrity/person you don't like.

reply

I agree with the OP, and no, he does not remind me of anyone, except perhaps a little bit of the protagonist in 'The Thing' who played his role there perfectly and was very likeable.
I also like the character and how he looks. I only do not like how poorly and unbelievably the actor acts, as already explained above:
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2085059/board/thread/262582492?d=262753559#262753559

I did not notice any worse actors being protagonists in the show than him.

reply

He is supposed to be slightly stupid and annoying - a "bro" type. We see more depth to him when he tells the girl about his parents.
But when the shït started getting real with that whole haunted mansion thing, he portrayed genuine fear and vulnerability beautifully.

Personally I would suggest that you re-watch the episode.

Cannot disagree more.

Personally I would suggest that you re-watch the episode.

That's my suggestion to you, too. I already re-watched it partially when I was looking for that scene, which put me off, as being particularly poorly played, so that I could tell you where it is (see my reply to you above: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt2085059/board/thread/262582492?d=262753559#262753559 ).

reply

Weird, because I believe the Protagonist in the Thing is his father.

reply

WHAT? He gave one of the strongest performances of the series. Maybe you just hated his CHARACTER? His acting was COMPLETELY believable.

reply

My sentiments exactly. 

reply

How can you watch his over the top reaction when he sees Peters, and think this is believable?

reply

Well, I disagree.

reply

I think he was great, and the character was likeable for me.

reply

I thought his performance was phenomenal and loved the character. I'm around many backpackers and they tend to be very similar to this guy.

Very good episode
