Season 3: sneakily being ultra progressive in its casting/writing

It shouldn't really need to be said but it was refreshing to see so many different colored faces leading/among the cast, and it was especially nice to see so many different roles for women.

Leading woman in Ep1
2 Leading women exploring a lesbian relationship in Ep4
Military commander and second in hand both female in Ep5
2 Leading woman as detectives in Ep6

It seams weird listing it like that but its true that you just wouldn't find this on other shows.

What about the forests?...... NOPE!

I don't judge tv shows, film or any other medium by the physical appearance of those involved, I'm more interested in the narrative, the acting, and the overall production. It's so short sighted to based your enjoyment on gender/race/sexuality.

Yes, and that's the problem. Insecure, race obsessed people. are there enough black people? are there enough women? are there too many?

Grow up, outside of Twitter and IMDB noone thinks about those questions. You need to be good at what you do.

They were all in the future, there will be less white men.

I think i've usually been in a nice mix of people in my schooling and jobs. School, happened to have another native for a bestie, along with a white guy, white lesbian girl, and black dude. All jobs had a nice mix. Oddly, I'm in the whitest environment now (IT) than I've ever been.

Extra fun, the first episode, has the white male having to screw a pig. /shrug

Not very sneaky. Highly disproportionate number of minorities in the episode I saw. Unrealistic, and detracts from the storyline.
