Fifteen Million Merits is number one.

The rest move around from day to day.

1. Fifteen million merits
2. White Christmas
3. Entire History of You

Sadly didn't like anything from S3.

i gotta say im really surprised at so many people rating 15 so highly, gotta have something to do with how hot jessica findley-brown is lol

reply

 Nah, I'm a straight female, so Jessica had nothing to do with it.
It was, however, the first episode I watched in 2012 and what made me absolutely fall in love with the series. I could easily place a few episodes from S1 and S2 as my favourites, even the ones people generally disliked.
Not sure why S3 feels so off to me, though. I'm going to re-watch the episodes and see if I change my mind.

reply

Oh, she is, but this episode is so great about the things that mass media can do.

reply

White bear
Entire history of you
Men against fire

reply

So the top 3 episodes are

#3. White Bear, although, others are very close.
#2. 15 million merits
#1. playtest.

Not a lot of great ones, some good ones, some bad onss.

reply

1. Shut up and dance
2. White bear
3. Playtest

reply

My top 3 is no order would be:

NOSEDIVE
WALDO MOMENT
15 MILLION MERITS

And then just slightly behind these would be:

WHITE BEAR
THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF YOU

I loved PLAYTEST until the final act it when it fell off-track; it should have stayed focused on the fear angle instead of trying to interweave multiple twists that ultimately became a mangled mess instead of a satisfying conclusion.

Agreed. I know a lot of people had issues with the slow start but I liked the beginning and even middle of it. The fear aspect was working for it, but then it was just one fakeout after another and it lost sight of whatever the purpose of the episode was. I mean, they're all about the dangers of technology, but having it end like that lost a lot of the nuance developed in the middle there.
A rose is just a rose.
