Seth Rogen

Given his almost typecasting to comedy roles I thought he did an excellent job in this movie. Anyone else agree?

reply

Agreed for sure. I think roger is a way better actor then Jonah hill that's for sure. Jonah has been given some good parts in some great films, but I think this performance is gonna be great for seth in the long run. I almost lost my *beep* when Jonah got a Oscar nom instead of Gordon levit for the movie 50/50. Both levit and Seth were excellent in the movie, it just didn't have brad Pitt in it.

reply

Yeah. I'm no Rogen fan but he did a really good job.

It's ok to like more than one actor. :))

reply

I thought he did great. I would like to see him in more serious roles.

reply

Highly disagree.

Agree, he was really good.

reply

He was fine. He wasn't bad, he didn't blow me away either. Any decent chubby guy actor could have played that role.

reply

Not really. Not saying the fact that Rogen pulled it off makes him great, but far from any decent chubby actor could pull it off as well as he did and I doubt anyone could pull it off better as it was a small part.

reply

I agree. Everybody was excellent in this film. Fassbender shone, Winslet is also so very good. Jeff Daniels was excellent too. I want to see it again - just arrived from the movie theater.

Signifying nothing."

reply

Totally agree. I'm not a fan of Rogen. I find even his comedic roles very boring, but he did a great job here.

reply

Absolutely. He was fantastic. Also Michael Stuhlbarg. The acting was strong across the board, actually.
