People have put horror film! Wtf - it lost me as soon as an ostrich was involved and police were drawing his mug shot after making a kid cry!! This really is an awful film that is trying to be slick - I honestly can't believe what I've just watched!
It's a gorey horror film. If you can't stomach it, you probably shouldn't watch it. I loved it, thought it was above average. It certainly wasn't a 10 star film but 7 for sure. Good writing, excellent directing, perfect cast, etc. I don't see where it fell so flat for you to say such a thing but to each their own of course.

As for the script...one of the sins was to eat a fly and another was to break 75% of wedding glasses and urinate! Scary!!
Hostel - that's gory. As for the acting - suddenly people are willing to turn into madman and eat their own animals for money...very very odd film. I'm glad you enjoyed it - just wasn't for me

Breaking the dishes wasn't the sin. It was about ruining that moment for his bride to be. He took the only thing the homeless man had and needed, clothing, and traded him something worthless for it (plus didn't make good on the 1k). Eating the fly was bait. It just showed him how "easy" it was to earn the money and that they were seriously going to give him cash.
I agree with the other poster that it was a least a 7/10. I wouldn't give it more than that though. It had some bad moments like the female cop that can't shoot (and doesn't give much warning). I also agree on sketching a pic of a man who verbally made a child cry is a bit much (as is throwing a trash can on his car).
The "twist" on the "twist" of who the second contestant was was also predictable,but still entertaining.

Come on, the dead corpse in the diner scene was at least worth 3 stars alone. Hilarious and disturbing at the same time. The rest of the movie 5/10. I gave it a 8/10. It entertained me throughout. That's all I ask for in a low budget film.

The beheaded biker gang got me laughing, that was so great. When he pulled out the wire I was so disappointed...and then.... lol awesome scene
