Underrated best Sci-Fi since 2001

There is something about it like 2001 and Moon. There are movies like Armageddon and Star Wars and Star Trek where ships magically turn instantly and always need thrust to move and there are not terms of orbits or anything. Europa Report is different. It doesn't need fancy explosions and strange physics. All it needs is a plot, realism and an intellectual theme. Is movie might not be understood by those unintelligent of beings used to fancy unnecessary CGI from Hollywood since this movie was made on a shoestring budget and makes everything look and feel real. The creators even consulted NASA to make sure there were no scientific errors!
Also what is unique is at everyone was always interested in Mars and the Moon, but no one was interested in a very Interestng moon of Jupiter which is probable to hold more life than Mars.
The movie deserves at least a 8/10 for such a brilliant work. -2 for strange time leaps which might confuse.

I don't know about underrated, so here's my admittedly iconoclastic list of 25 favorites from this century (order after the top 7 not set in stone):

I like smart, I like offbeat, and I like eye candy.

The first 12 are 10/10, the next 12 are 9/10.

1. Donnie Darko (director's cut)
2. Upstream Color
3. Inception
4. The Prestige
5. Cloud Atlas
6. Primer
7. Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind
8. Avatar
9. Serenity (only as Firefly sequel)
10. Southland Tales (only as graphic novel sequel)
11. Mr. Nobody
12. Minority Report
13. Children of Men
14. V For Vendetta
15. Night Watch / Day Watch
16. Watchmen
17. The Avengers
18. Her
19. Snowpiercer
20. Godzilla (in IMAX)
21. Perfect Sense
22. Europa Report
23. District 9
24. Scott Pilgrim vs. the World
25. Moon
Wild Card: The Fountain (need to see it again)

Prepare your minds for a new scale of physical, scientific values, gentlemen.

Yes, my favourite space film along with 2001, which is far more fantastical.

For other great sci-fi films from recent times, I'd say http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0390384/?ref_=nv_sr_1 and http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0317042/

No-nonsense (relatively speaking at least) space travel procedural, which had me on the edge of my seat. Better than Alien and Gravity. 8/10

Amen! It reminds me of one of Arthur C. Clarke's novels or short stories about Europa, but I can't think of the title.
