Its not a good movie, but its not nearly as bad as everyone is saying.. except the last 5 mins that is as bad as everyone is saying haha

shareIts not as bad as people are making it out to be. Yes, its not nearly as good as the first one, but it does have a great performance (again) by Ashley Bell and it has some great cinematography with a few creepy images.

Agreed on the lead actress's performance, but that was the only thing in this movie I thought was any good. The pacing and story were just boring, as another poster said. As with most modern horror, relied too heavily on mindless jump cuts. Just all-around a lackluster effort that had my mind wandering and me wanting to leave out of boredom at points. By contrast, I really enjoyed the first film.

shareIt's not very good, but it's not horrible or the worst movie ever made.
It has a very slow pace, not much really happened. And at times I felt like I was watching a drama than a horror film. The scares were not scary really except for the opening with the couple, that was actually creepy. Most of the film is the main character getting a job and trying to live a normal life. It's like they treat the demon as a abusive husband and she is trying to break free of him. Kinda like a lifetime film with supernatural elements.
Then at the end right when it starts to pick up and get interesting it's over. I don't hate the movie. There are some things I like about it, like the Nell character. She is sweet and creepy at the same time. But it's a rental.

It's really bad. I had high hopes for it because I liked the first one. But it's not scary in the least bit. There was nothing frightening. It literally just follows Nell around New Orleans the whole time. Probably the worst horror movie I've seen in a while.
