Who killed the pilot? When?

So the lady who doesn't have Alzheimer's leads us to the redhead who used the lavatory. But she didn't shoot the pilot through the elaborate hole in the cockpit wall. We can guess the villain did, but when?

Saw this movie twice. I was convinced the first time that Jen was in on the plan and I'm still convinced. The end of the movie is not really the end. Jen is going to get that money.

Just watched this movie. I'm glad someone else was wondering about this. As far as I'm concerned only the Julianne Moore character, the old lady or one of the flight attendants could have killed the pilot.

Just watched the movie and was also wondering who the heck killed the pilot? It's just bugging me.

reply

Yeah they really didn't explain that. He just suddenly stopped questioning her when she said she had surgery once and liked to sit by the window in case it was her last day. Wtf does that have to do with her being the only one in the bathroom when the pilot died? She was sick once so she's not a suspect anymore?? And why did she keep saying she flies A LOT but never said what her job was?

reply

You kind of think maybe they shot the film with Jen being in on it, but then test audiences liked her too much so they made her a hero. Then they couldn't afford/be bothered to rethink the film and left a terrible loose end!

I can't see how he could have done it, seeing he was being searched and tied up at the time. I can only think it was his offsider. It's a good movie as it rolls along, but afterwards, questions do begin to be asked.🐭

There were 2 bad guys. While one was tied up, the other ( the black guy ) was free and nobody thought he was another suspect.

So, probably the black guy killed the pilot, and the teacher killed the lawyer ( third victim ) when he got stabbed ( our hero didn't even notice at first glance ).

reply

It was springloaded so when Jen opened the bathroom door it got shot into the captain.

Maybe the lavatory had nothing to do with the pilot's death.

Maybe the pilot and the bankruptcy lawyer who Bill Marks mistakenly believed was the hijacker were killed with a slow-acting poison that the killers slipped into their food or drinks before the flight.

reply

I guess the black dude snuck in before or after, and nobody saw?
