Aliens
I was 11 and begged to be able to watch it.
These days, I get a little creeped out but it's not the same as when you are a kid. I really love scary movies. I thought The Ring was pretty creepy. People talk about when she comes out of the tv, but I tbought the scene in the well was tbe creepy part.

Ju-on. I watched it alone and had to call my mom after. I was 42 at the time.
The Eye (original) I had to stop watching it and resume it during daylight hours
Nightmare On Elm Street had me too scared to get my purse from under my seat
As a kid Carrie (1976) Burn Offerings , The Sentinel and Halloween gave me nightmares.

Can you hear me?....They did this

reply

1. Jacob's Ladder
2. Possession 1981
3. Prince of Darkness
4. In the Mouth of Madness
5. The Thing
6. The Descent
7. The Ghost and the Darkness
8. Alien
9. The Omen
10. The Ring

For games, Silent Hill and Dead Space.

And also Millennium TV show.

I have to mention War of the Worlds by Steven Spielberg, I was trembling during the whole opening act. I stopped the video 10 times during the Dreamcatcher's bathroom scene, it is completely ridiculous how anticipation incapacitates me.

I value "not showing much" in horror, I also value a good reveal.

Ju-on: The Grudge 1 & 2
A Tale Of Two Sisters
Dark Water (original)

Ringu is awesome also but I didn't find it really scary.
