Most of this animated movie is enjoyable, except it did a reveal, which was extremely predictable and quite disappointing.

The movie was really enjoyable otherwise.

Worth a watch.

It had its moments, and overall was enjoyable, but one thing really bugged me: why was Hal masquerading as a prisoner, feigning the attempt with all that digging to escape? What was the in-universe point of that? That part makes absolutely no sense to me.

Is this an origin story? Also can anyone suggest me other good GL animation movies? Which one would be the best?

This guy didnt feel like John Stewart from Justice League and Justice League Unlimited series. Something off about it, either the voice acting, the cringe lines or general characterization. He had no agency.
At least they are setting him up with Hawk girl, best couple.

Well, it's officially set in a different continuity to the DCAU. Look how many different Batman voice actors there have been, not all of them universally hailed as great.

It was very dark. And the villain was way too powerful, until he wasn't (as usual).
