Wolf Creek 2 was much better. In Wolf Creek 1, the movie mostly evolved around the 2 guys and the girl. In Wolf Creek 2, the opening scene with the police men was just brilliant and well done. This movie also had different characters and different scenes. The scene where the guy goes to hide in the farm-house was also very good. This same guy, at the end of the movie, also tries to "bond" with Mick by singing songs. It was well done. The acting by both of them was also amazing. The same goes for most of the movie with all characters.
Wolf Creek 2: 10/10

I think Wolf Creek 2 was the better film...but I wouldn't define either as my favorite.

I also couldn't help but notice that the torture and mutilation of victims in this one...was directed almost completely at the men in the film...and I can't help but wonder if that's not pandering given that the original film was derided for its "misogyny."

So yeah in this one, you see a police officer's head explode, a male tourist get decapitated, another one get tortured...while the brutality inflicted upon the women in the film...is invariably eluded to or implied more than shown.

I somehow don't think we're gonna see people crying "misandry."

Simpy put 2>1.
