So disappointed!!!! What went wrong?

I hate to report it, but this was a big letdown. Everything good the first time was no present here. There were so many great actors just wasted here. The plot was so serious that it lost all sense of fun. If s third chapter does happen then I hope they bring back r charm of the first movie. I waited three long years for this and it just didn't deliver.

Wasted opportunity. They had a fun story to go with alongside an eye popping cast, and yet the whole film felt dry and boring. The script is so sloppy and the film is put together so lazily and rushed. The killings were uninspired and the gore looked like it was done on some kids iMac in Adobe Premiere. You got Tom Savini on set, and instead they go with this unacceptable cheapness. Too many scenes of characters doing monologues of exposition to the story that should not be taking itself so seriously. Mel Gibson is a talented actor, a Legend. All of his scenes were spent on himself filling in plot material for the rest of the story, and not spent on him being a crazy badass. There was no fun nor creativity put into this. It should be aware of itself and have fun. Its a simple plot. Guy has missles, Machete must stop him. Let the blood, tits, and mayhem take over from there.

couldnt agree more cinemasaver!!! a complete WASTE of time, i didn't even know what I was watching by the time the third act rolled around... the only watchable vignettes were all shown in the trailers, and in context even those scenes were beyond awful. I can't even deal with the let-down that this was.... wow.

It should've been more like Black Dynamite which is still the worlds best satire/homage to the exploitation films of the 70's.

The movie felt more like a direct-to-video movie from the mid-nineties than a grindhouse film.

exactly, but where it the tits, I mean what the f? I want tits, and sadly there was not tits in this movie!

Not enough, plot mythology and dialog.

People get bored during gun fights, explosions, and car chases.

nonsense script, no connection to reality anymore, characters straight from the looney bin, bad CGI, Machete no human anymore, bad jokes, trying too hard to be cool, very bad acting even for a film like this ...

To me Machete Kills felt like a parody to the first one. The first movie was way more serious in my op!
