reasons to Watch Machete Kills

So, the first film was great fun, typical Robert Rodriguez Mexploitation. Reasons to watch Machete Kills?. Well, there's Michelle Rodriguez(is she related to Robert?), Amber Heard, Jessica Alba, Sofia Vergara, Vanessa Hudgens, Lady Gaga, Alexa Vego and The Avellan twins and, oh yes, I almost forgot, Danny Trejo and Mel Gibson.
Word has it that Machete Kills and Machete Kills-In Space, were shot back to back and RR is editing and cutting them back to back as well so both could be in cinemas pretty soon. I for one can't wait. If you want Mexploitation Grindhouse then Robert is your man-bring it on!. How about Planet Terror 2?.

Can't wait for this, saw the first one and I loved it. Everybody who says it is crap can't enjoy it for what it is, an entertaining, ultra violent, grindhouse-esque Mexploitation film for which Robert Rodriquez is known for. Will these movies ever win an Oscar? No, but that is not why they are made. RR was probably like okay we're going to make an action movie featuring Danny Trejo as a knife wielding freedom fighter who gets more ass than a toilet seat. Then studio execs were probably like okay sounds interesting, but how many young, hot, and sexy Spanish and American woman can we cram into this film?

I have a lot of reasons to watch this movie. Just some of them:
1) Stellar cast which includes beautiful women (Sofia Vergara, Michelle Rodriguez, Vanessa Hudgens, Amber Heard, Zoe Saldana, Avellan twins etc)
2) B-movie style with ridiculous action, violence and hot Latin women)
3) The first was hilarious
4) Robert Rodriguez said in the interview that this movie has extra cameos. So, I want to know who are these people.

So many reasons, in addition to those mentioned:

1. Like the first one, it is SO over-the-top that if you don't take it seriously at all and just want crazy fun, it is very entertaining. Something like watching an episode of the Jerry Springer show.

2. Hot women, including a very Anglo-looking woman (Amber Heard) playing a Latina beauty contestant and somehow pulling it off

3. "Carlos Estevez" as the US President is a hoot.

4. Mel Gibson shows he can have a good secondary career as a psychotic baddie.

5. Lady Desdemona's weapons have to be seen to be believed.

6. If a 60-year old (or older) Danny Trejo (with that face only a mother could love) can somehow get gorgeous women throughout the movies to want to bed him, then that should be good news for us.

7. Damien Bichir's parody of a Mexican baddie actually includes some good acting as he shifts from one personality to another

8. I mentioned hot women, but Alexa Vega, damn

9. (spoilers) So they offed Jessica Alba in the beginning rather quickly. Well, that death turns out to very significant to the plot in the end. Wasn't just a way to get Alba in for a few minutes of this movie

10. You haven't seen Robert Rodriguez movies until you hear Antonio Banderas pretending to speak bad Mexican Spanish (as he's actually some Anglo face-shifting assassin) and even better, pretending to speak with an authentic southern US accent (nearly pulls it off, I wonder how much he practiced)

11. Tributes to movies such as James Bond movies (including Bond movie spoofs), Star Wars, Max Max, other Robert Rodriguez movies, including the very first MACHETE movie

12. In the "preview" to the next movie (to be set in space), what Machete does to the robot character supposedly to be played by Justin Beiber will get fans cheering the way STAR WARS fans would cheer any scene showing the mutilation of Jar Jar Binks

Because it's Machete!

I'm enthusiasticly waiting in the grim hope Gibson and Sheen get what's coming to them.

Several reasons: (SPOILERS below, in some examples)

-The many, many celebrity appearances.
-The Chameleon. Funniest character in the film.
-A certain weapon from From Dusk Til Dawn reappears.
-The trailer for Machete Kills Again...In Space!
-The 3D gag. Freakin' hilarious.
-The "high-tech" weapons in the second half.
-The Mexican dictator. Funny as heck.
-The gorgeous women.
-The clones.
-The gore.
-The blooper after the credits.
-The extra scene after the credits.
-Danny Trejo rocks.
