I hate to admit this...

but it wasn't THAT HORRIBLE. And know that I will be the first one to rip a movie to shreds. I think what saved me tho is that I went in figuring that it would be bad and the lowest expectation possible; I also didn't expect to be scared. If you go in that way, it's not that bad. I was more fascinated by seeing the location but the storyline...I get it. I am not a fan of the Paranormal Activity movies...I see them and then bitch about how bad they are lol so that's another reason I didn't expect much. Typical movie that tried to scare you with darkness and loud noises , typical blonde big boob girl with her dark haired not so big boobed friend, etc. I will get flamed for this but actually liked it more than The Cabin in the Woods...which probably makes me stupid but I don't care.

And for the record, there were 3 of us in the theatre, although it was the afternoon of a holiday.

I'm not all that much into current horror, so I thought it was quite good and original. I've mostly read bad reviews before watching, but I decided to give it a chance anyway, since I thought the scenary was perfect for a horror movie (abandoned buildings are always creepy, either with radiation danger or not!). And it didn't disappoint me at all, I must say. I found it to be rather entertaining, and had some very good scary moments.

I loved this movie!

Agreed. I hate modern horror flicks, especially the found footage genre, and this one compared to the others was fresh, scary, and very watchable.

It wasn't horrible at all. Surely deserves more than a 5 out of 10.
Cabin In The Woods sucked big time, a travesty, one of the stupidest, most overrated turds I've ever seen.
And let's not talk about the recent wave of pseudo-movies shot with a cellphone or from surveillance cameras... I'm looking at you, Paranormal Craptivity.
