such movies should not exist or be triple x rated

what more to add? if a movie has a flicker of breast, it will be at least R rated. But with a kid held captive by a serial killer, after seeing - or hearing his mom killed by the guy, to discuss the path he should follow, that is what? normal???
that is insanity. I watched 10 minutes of the movie, felt sick and left...
And a woman directed this piece of pure garbage...
I am ashamed such things are filmed. It is not much better than torture movies, and shows that a normal human being will never understand Hollywood censure.

I see both sides on this topic. I do not like films of this nature, but I understand why they exist. I feel that with the labeling it was given, as well as information on films so readily available via the internet, then no viewer should be surprised by content anymore. To the original poster: I understand your feelings, but perhaps you should choose films that are more appealing to your sensibilities.

I completely agree with you. What was the point in making a film like this?
Horrible crap!

Congrats on the troll, OP.

If you're serious(which I don't think for a second you are), the answer is simple.

And its staring right at you in this very thread.

I am against what you stand for.

Okay so I'm 10 mins in and there hasn't been a speck of blood or anything that bad. The mom's been dragged out of the car and that's it. Calm your balls.
Also, sexist much?

The OP may just be a troll, but. . .

Any argument having to do with children is irrelevant when you're talking about R-rated movies. The reason the rating system exists is so that I don't have to only watch the movies that are fit for your *beep* children. Parents need to use the rating system to monitor what their kids watch, not put the burden on everyone else.

I also get tired of hearing a movie doesn't have a "point". People who say that about movies they don't like probably couldn't find a "point" to movies they really do like. Besides, what's the point of Picasso's "Guernica"? What's the point of "Hamlet"? What's the point of a Mozart symphony?

This isn't great art by any means, but the fact that it's not fit for children and doesn't have an obvious "point" means NOTHING one way or the other.

Stuff like this actually happens. Maybe if more people saw a movie like this, there would be less victims in the world, and serial killers like this wouldn't be able to hurt so many people.

Think about how short this movie would have been if the mom would have had her concealed carry license? It's legal in most states now, she could have had a little pistol in her purse. She could have popped the cab driver serial killer in the chest as soon as he got out and opened her door.

Movie over. No more victims.

Instead of crying about it, you should learn something from it. Because there's active serial killers all over the world right now, doing just what you saw in the movie. Hundreds of them.

There's too many victims in this world. People need to fight back.
